Inspired by the unforgettable sunsets of Hearson’s Cove, Embers of the Horizon captures the final moments of daylight as the sky glows with rich colour before night falls. The ever-changing light, reflections across the water and dramatic Pilbara landscape create a sense of warmth and stillness that never fails to draw me back. This painting is a celebration of those quiet moments when nature reminds us to pause, reflect and simply take it all in.
Disclaimer
This painting was originally created as a practice piece for a live painting event, so I never planned on selling it. My studio has since become overflowing with paintings, so I’ve decided to let it find a new home. The canvas has a slight warp around the edges, which has been reflected in the price, but it remains a beautiful original piece that could easily be re-stretched or reframed if desired.
