Meet Ferris, a one of a kind bear, individually designed and completely handmade by Jill Twiggs of Bears ‘n’ Beasties in Karratha, Western Australia.
Standing approximately 13 inches (33 cm) tall, Ferris haws been created from beautiful hand - dyed German mohair, giving him his wonderfully individual patchwork of warm rust, burgundy, cream, gold and brown tones.
His soulful glass eyes, needlefelted nose and slightly tousled appearance gives Ferris a personality entirely his own. He is finished with a soft mohair scarf.
Ferris is weighted with steel shot, giving him a substantial, traditional artist bear feel when held and displayed.
Ferris was born on 8th August 2026 in Karratha, Western Australia, and comes with his own signed identification card detailing his materials and birthday.
Ferris is a true one of a kind (OOAK) creation. There will never be another Ferris.
While Ferris himself cannot be duplicated, commissions are welcome for bears inspired by his style and character. Each commissioned bear will be individually designed and handmade, with its own unique personality.
