Ancient Reflections is inspired by the tranquil beauty of Python Pool in Millstream Chichester National Park, one of the Pilbara’s hidden gems. Towering ancient rock walls surround the emerald-green water, creating a place that feels both peaceful and timeless. Rather than painting every detail realistically, I used expressive colour and loose brushwork to capture the atmosphere and emotion of the landscape. The reflections dancing across the water invite the viewer to pause, breathe and appreciate the quiet beauty that makes Python Pool so unforgettable.
