Aubrey - Artist Bear

Meet Aubrey, a soulful one of a kind artist bear, individually designed and completely handmade by Jill Twiggs Bears ‘n’ Beasties in Karratha, Western Australia.

Standing approximately 13 inches (33 cm) tall, Aubrey ha been created using a beautiful combination of hand dyed mohair and repurposed vintage real fur.  The recycled fur ha been given a new life in Aubrey’s head and chest, making him especially individual and ensuring that his unique combination of textures can never be exactly recreated.

Aubrey’s wonderfully expressive face ha been individually needle felted and sculpted by hand, giving him his endearing slightly quirky personality.  His soulful glass eyes, oversized paws and rich earthy colouring complete his distinctive character.

He is weighted with steel shot, giving him a lovely substantial feel when held and displayed, and is finished with his little turquoise button detail.

Aubrey was born on 29th October 2024 in Karratha, Western Australia and comes with his own signed identification card detailing his materials and birthday.

Aubrey is a true one of a kind (OOAK) creation.  There will never be another Aubrey exactly like him.

While Aubrey himself cannot be duplicated, commissions are welcome for bears inspired by his style and character.  Each commissioned bear is individually designed and handmade, with its own unique personality and materials.
