Framed by Country is inspired by Miaree Pool, one of my favourite places in the Pilbara. I’ve spent many afternoons there enjoying the rope swing, cooling off in the water, and watching the black swans glide peacefully across the pool. Framed by ancient gum trees, this painting captures the feeling of slowing down and appreciating the simple moments that make this place so special. The gentle ripples, reflections and rich Australian colours celebrate the quiet beauty of one of the Pilbara’s best-loved natural swimming spots.
